Sunday, 16 March, 2008- Thunderstorms triggered by a cold, late winter, upper low pressure system rolled across portions of Southern California during the weekend of March 15 & 16, 2008. Lightning, hail, and heavy rain were the usual menu items. Thunderstorms over the east side of the Santa Ana Mountains moved southwestward into Orange County, and provided photographic opportnuities of spectacular cloud formations. More photos
