Inland Empire - Cherry Valley/San Jacinto - August 30, 2008 - Inland Empire

A strong monsoon surge triggered scattered thunderstorms across the deserts from Imperial County northward into Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Mountain thunderstorms formed over the San Jacinto and San Bernardino ranges which drifted southwestward into the eastern valleys of the Inland Empire from Beaumont/Banning/Cherry Valley into Hemet.
