Storms of September 29, 2008

The final monsoon surge of the season roared into Southern California as an upper level disturbance moving northward along the SoCal coast triggered an outbreak of thunderstorms that began around dawn. Storms developed from San Diego up into Orange and L.A. Counties through the morning, and on into the mountains and Mojave Desert through the afternoon.
