The first day of the outbreak actually started during the early morning hours around midnight. Storms raged through the predawn ours along the east side of the Inland Empire, the San Gabriel Valley and Ontario areas, and all mountain zones. The flow remained strong through the morning and early afternoon and strong to severe storms broke out in the Hemet area around 3:00pm.
