Microburst over Wildomar, Ca - September 5, 2006

During the afternoon of September 5, 2006, a strong monsoon-fed easterly flow was interacting with the Elsinore Convergence Zone in western Riverside County. A particulary strong cell erupted directly over Wildomar along Clinton Keith Rd, and pulsed to severe status shortly before 5:00pm. The resulting microburst delivered a barrage of intense rain, 1/4in hail, and high winds. The severe portion of the storm was over in about 10 minutes, but the high winds did damage to an abandoned trailer, causing it to tumble and come to a shambled rest against a fence.
